We are currently recruiting FRONT DESK SALES PERSONS / RECEPTIONISTS to Rovaniemi for winter season 2024-2025.
Front desk is the heart of our operations and walk-in customer sales. Daily work at the front desk is divided into two shifts, seven days a week.
Work tasks include customer service in email, phone and face-to-face mainly in English, describing and selling activities, use of reservation systems and cashier, and cooperation with operation team and suppliers.
As we offer accommodation as well, our front desk not only sells activities but works as a reception as well. All basic hotel reception tasks are big part of your daily work. The primary working location is our safari office in the city center of Rovaniemi. 25 km from there is our fully operated Vaattunki Wilderness Resort and our front desk personnel has a change to work in that destination as well if needed. Thus hygiene- and alcohol serving pass are considered as a benefit.
We are expecting from you:
– previous experience in tourism field
– organization and efficiency skills
– skills to cope with fast-changing environment and under pressure
– sales spirit and flexibility
– positive attitude towards work and work team
– knowledge of Microsoft Office -tools
– fluent English
The following are considered as your advantage:
– knowledge of reservation systems (Travius, Hotellinx Cloud, Bókun)
– Finnish skills
– other languages such as Italian, Spanish and French
– good knowledge of Rovaniemi and surroundings
The contract is full-time from November and valid until Spring 2025 (February or March).
